Yam Glaze
Ingredients:
- 1 package of Bruce's Yam Glaze Sauce
- 1 (16 oz.) can of Bruce's® YAMS in Heavy Syrup
Steps:
Heat canned yams in their syrup. Drain and reserve liquid. Pour 1/2 cup water into a microwaveable container. Add package contents and stir until well blended. Heat on high for 2 minutes. Optional: For a richer sauce, add one Tbsp butter or margarine and stir until melted. Spoon over freshly baked sweet potato or canned yams. If sauce is too thick, add a few drops of water or reserved yam syrup to desired consistency. Garnish with raisins, dates or orange slices.
