Zatarain's, LA Fish Fry, Slap Ya Mama, ...

Shrimp, crab, and crawfish boils can be found across southern Louisiana year round,it just depends on whats in season. Major crawfish boils are held by churches and other organizations as fundraisers throughout the spring. Tulane University holds an annual "Crawfest" in April.  Smaller crawfish boils can be found in backyards across the US throughout April, May, and June.

    Just toss in a bag of this seasoning, and let the whole herbs and spices work their magic. To a large pot, add enough water to cover seafood, 4 Tbsp. salt and 1 bag of Crawfihs, Shrimp & Crab Boil. Bring to a rolling boil, add seafood, and return to a boil. Boil crabs 20 minutes, crawfish 15 minutes and shrimp 2 minutes. Remove from heat and soak 5 minutes. For added flavor: Add halved lemons and cayenne pepper prior to boiling water.     Boil seafood to your own taste with this potent liquid concentrate seasoning. Directions: Shake well before using. Crawfish or Shrimp: Use 1 Tbsp. per 5 pounds of seafood. (5 fl. oz. per 50 pounds) Use enough water to cover seafood completely. Bring seasoned water to a rolling boil, then add seafood and return to boil. It's that easy. This package contains enough seasoning to boil 5 lbs. shrimp, 8 medium crabs, or 10 lbs. crawfish.

    BOILING SEAFOOD Steps: In a large pot, use enough water to cover seafood. (To reduce the strength, add more water.) Add appropriate amount of seasoning and bring to a rolling boil. Add seafood and return to a rolling boil. Boil seafood for 5 minutes. Remove from fire and let seafood stand in liquid for 25 minutes.

    STEAMING SEAFOOD Steps: In any size pot, put 3-1/2 inches of water and bring to a boil. Cover pot tightly. When steam escapes from side of lid, add full basket of seafood. Cover tightly. When steam escapes from side of lid again, begin timing. Steam shrimp 8 to 10 minutes; crabs and crawfish 10 to 12 minutes. In a styrofoam chest put layer of seafood, then sprinkle layer of seasoning. Continue to layer until all seafood is used. Place lid tightly over chest and let stand for 12 minutes. Enjoy!

    2.       Bring water to a boil.
    3.       Add half bag of Louisiana Crawfish Time seafood boil to water.
    4.       Put crawfish in water and bring to ROLLING boil.
    5.       Remove crawfish and pour in ice chest.
    6.       Sprinkle crawfish with remaining seafood boil.
