Our Louisiana Blue Crabs are caught daily direct from our exclusive fishing boats and steamed to perfection. All you have to do is reheat and add spices to your desired heat level. Our crabs are measured on the top shell from point to point giving their appropriate size according to the "Old time Maryland" grading scale. Our current catch comes from the brackish waters of southwest Louisiana providing a crab with the tastiest yellow fat. This pack includes thirty six (36) all JUMBO EXTRA LARGE Male crabs (measuring 6-3/4 to 7-1/2). Cooking Instructions: Must thaw in fridge or cool water bath before re-heating. Prepare a large 10-20 quart pot by placing the boiler pot on the stove or grill fill 3/4 full with water. Add seasoning and bring the liquid to a full boil. Once boiling add crabs and reduce heat to a low simmer (165-180 Degrees). Cook crabs for 20 minutes. Remove from water and check internal temperature. Crabs should be above 165 degrees. If not ready place back in pot and heat additional 5-10 minutes and check temperature again until 165 degrees or above is achieved.
