LOUISIANA JAMBALAYA MIX Steps: Precook 1 to 1-1/2 lbs. of chicken, pork, sausage or any combination thereof. Place cooked meat in a covered saucepan with Jambalaya Mix and add 2-1/4 cups of water. Heat mixture until it begins to boil, reduce heat and simmer 20 to 25 minutes. Stir once during cooking period.
