Shrimp Huffine




  • 2-4 lbs Louisiana Gulf Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 6 garlic toes (chopped)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp red pepper
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp oregano
  • ¼ tsp rosemary
  • ¼ lb butter
  • 2 bay leaves
  • juice of one (1) lemon or ½ cup white dry wine.


Combine garlic, salt, red pepper, black pepper, oregano, butter, rosemary and bay leaves in a large frying pan and cook for 4-5 minutes. Add shrimp and continue to cook until the shrimp are tender. Add the lemon juice or wine and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve with French bread. Substitute chicken wings for the shrimp and this would be called STICKY CHICKEN. Enjoy!
