Gingerbread
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter (2 sticks), room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 ½ cup flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp of each: cinnamon, cloves and allspice
- 1 cup STEEN'S Dark Molasses
- 1 cup boiling water
Steps:
In large bowl, cream butter and sugar together. Add 1 egg at a time and beat. Sift flour, soda and spices together. Add to creamed mixture. Add molasses and boiling water to mixture last. Pour into deep greased pan and bake at 350° for about 45 minutes.
