New England Coffee. For over 100 years, New England Coffee has been dedicated to one thing – the art of roasting coffee. The story of New England Coffee begins in 1916 when Menelaos Kaloyanides, along with his brother George Kaloyanides and his cousin Megaklis Papadopoulos, founded the New England Tea and Coffee Company. From their location at Milk and Broad Streets in Boston, they delivered coffee to restaurants all over the city. Slowly but surely, the company gained a reputation for consistently good coffee. As its reputation grew, so grew the reach of the company’s deliveries and the size of its accounts. While many things have changed over the decades, the company’s commitment to quality has never wavered. Today, we do our best to preserve the time-honored methods of roasting coffee, because it’s the only proven way to make sure that you’ll always get to enjoy a consistently great cup of coffee. New England Coffee’s tradition of small batch roasting our coffee beans ensures freshness and a consistently balanced flavor every time. We use only the finest Arabica coffee beans to create superb blends, delicious flavored coffees and full-bodied dark roasts. Our commitment to locally roasting great-tasting coffee from our facility in Malden, MA, has made New England Coffee a favorite since 1916. All New England Coffee ground coffee varieties contain 100% Arabica coffee, are Gluten Free, and certified Kosher.
