This YUMMY Sauce combined with Today's Catch is sure to tantalize your taste buds and paint a smile upon your face. Back in 1928, in a small cabin over a pot bellied stove, my Aunt Myrtle perfected her famous Goobyon Sauce. This historic event took place in the Cyprus Swamp along the banks of the Atchafalaya River, in South Louisiana where she was born and raised. Myrtle cooked fish, frog legs, rabbits, squirrels, ducks, woodcock, turtle and an occasional alligator in her YUMMY Sauce, and served it over rice to many grateful fisherman, hunters and trappers over the years. The hungry Cajun's were often heard to exclaim: "May shah! That sure is some good sauce!" Serves 4-6.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Combine thawed YUMMY Sauce with 2-1/2 lbs. of unseasoned Catch of the Day (any seafood, meat or poultry). Bring to slow boil, cover & cook till tender. Serve over a bed of rice or a nest of pasta and always rember: "The proof of the pudding is in the eating".

Check out our delicious Turducken products for your holiday gathering! Or, for your next spring party may we suggest throwing a crawfish boil or shrimp boil. You may want to add some boudin and andouille, to spice it up! Let CajunGrocer serve your Creole and Cajun food needs.
