Shrimp, Louisiana crawfish, and blue crab give the gumbo its seafood flavor, while a dark roux and the Cajun trinity of onions, celery, and bell peppers give the broth its depth.
What’s included? One sealed 5 lb (80 oz) bag of seafood gumbo. It ships frozen with dry ice. Rice is not included.
How to heat the 5 lb bag: Follow the package directions. Heat the unopened bag in boiling water for about 15–20 minutes, until the gumbo reaches 165°F. Open the bag carefully and serve over cooked white rice.
