Blue Runner Red Beans & Rice Family Bean Kit
Blue Runner Family Meal kits include everything you need to make a traditional pot of red beans and rice. With just a pot and 6 cups of water, you can have a delicious creole meal the whole family can enjoy.
Makes 9 Servings
Ingredients: Red Beans, Parboiled Rice, Dehydrated Vegetables (onion, Garlic, Celery, Bell Pepper), Salt, And Spices.
Blue Runner Meal kit Serving Suggestions:
Rinse beans. Add beans, seasonings and 6 cups water to crockpot. Cook 7-8 hours on HIGH. Stir occasionally.
Prior to serving, mix rice and 2 cups of water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover. Simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove rice from heat. Let stand covered 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with fork and serve with beans.
TIP: Get creative. Garnish with green onions or add sausage for a protein-packed meal. Enjoy!
