Cajun's Choice Gumbo File' 1.4oz

The Choctaw Indians of the Louisiana bayous were probably the first to use filé seasoning made from dried, ground leaves of the sassafras tree. Later Africans introduced gumbo (meaning okra) to this region in the rich roux-based stew over rice.
