Community Coffee's CHOCOLATE MINT COOLER Ingredients: 2-1/4 cups cold Community Coffee 4 tablespoons crèam de cacao 4 tablespoons white crèam de menthe 1 cup light cream ice cubes of frozen coffee or regular ice cubes Steps: Place the cooled coffee, liqueurs and light cream into a blender. Blend until frothy. Serve over ice cubes, preferably those made by freezing coffee in an ice cube tray. Serves 4.
Community Coffee's FROSTY CAFÉ AU LAIT Ingredients: 2-1/4 cups cold Community Coffee 2 cups milk 2 cups crushed ice sugar (optional) Steps: Place all ingredients in a blender. Add sugar if desired and blend until frothy. Serve over ice. Serves 8.
HOW TO BREW THE PERFECT CUP OF Community Coffee Steps: Start with a clean coffee brewer. Periodically clean your coffee brewer; otherwise, an invisible film of oil will form, making each batch taste rancid. Use fresh, cold water. We recommend using bottled or filtered water. Heating water or allowing it to stand makes it taste flat and stale. Never guess amounts. Measure two tablespoons for every six ounces (3/4 cup) of water. To prevent bitterness, always remove the grounds from the brewer as soon as the brewing cycle is completed. Stir or swirl the coffee in a bowl before serving. Coffee is best if served immediately, but will retain its flavor for up to 20 minutes. Proper temperature to brew coffee is 195-200?F, +/- 5 degrees.
