Steen's is excellent...why isn't there a dot for that? I discovered Steen's Cane Syrup years ago in south LA and have been disappointed whenever i moved somewhere that didn't have the wisdom to stock it for their customers. I currently live in such a place but find that having access to cajun.com is a blessing for being able to find the foods i grew up with and still love so much...like Steen's Cane Syrup.

Steen's is right up there with Chachere, Tabasco, and Community as brands I cannot do without, wherever I happen to live. Steens goes on pancakes, popcorn, sweet potatoes, and Pain Perdu.

I cannot buy Steen's locally, but three generations of my family have felt that it is worth the effort to buy it on line. And we love the brown glass bottles!
