Creole Pecan Pie
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup brown dark sugar, firm packed
- 1 cup corn dark syrup
- 1 cup pecans, broken
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 pie shell, 9" unbaked
Beat eggs and sugar together until thick. Add corn syrup, pecans, vanilla and salt. Mix well and pour into pie shell. Bake at 300 degrees for about 1 hour or until filling is firm.
