Easy "Homemade" Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups biscuit mix
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • ¼ cup Blue Plate Mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp margarine, melted

Steps:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In bowl, combine biscuit mix, milk, and mayonnaise. Stir only until all the dry mix is mixed in and moistened. Sprinkle an additional cup of biscuit mix on clean, dry work surface. Scrape out dough onto prepared surface. Sprinkle biscuit mix on top of dough and on hands to keep from sticking since dough will be very wet. Work dough very gently just enough until dough can be handled. Press out flat to about ½ thick and cut with round biscuit cutter which has also been dipped in biscuit mix to avoid sticking. Coat baking pan or cookie sheet with raised edges with the melted margarine. Flip each Biscuit in margarine so that tops are covered as well. Place about 1 inch apart in pan. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned on top. Makes about 12 biscuits.
