Whole Alligator (Large)
Have A Question For This Product?
Q: do you have whole gator with skin on? I like to buy a medium-sized one.
A: I apologize, all of our gators are gutted and skinned.
Q: Does whole gator need to be brined before cooking
A: Adding a brine to your alligator is not mandatory. It is solely based on preference. If you would like your gator to be very flavorful and seasoned then i would recommend adding some sort of brine.
Q: What is the length of a 21 lb alligator
A: The length of the alligators may vary. We mark the size by how much it weighs. The alligator does come curled for easier shipping and cooking.
Q: How does the gator come packed? I love in South Carolina and dont want it to spoil during shipping. Do you pack it in something that keeps it cold?
A: All of our perishable items come frozen and are packed in a small cooler with dry ice to arrive frozen.
Q: How many people would a 21 lb alligator feed roughly?? About how long is it? Does it come with skin left on the head and claws??
A: Hello, our large gators range from 20-23 lbs, if this is your only protein, I would estimate a pound a person, if served with other things, 8ounces per person. We can be reached at 888-272-9347 if you have any other questions. Skin is on the head and small strip along the back and on feet.
