A: Field Run means that you will get a variety of sizes and quality of the crawfish. Its minimally sorted before being weighed and placed in a sack. They should be purged upon arrival to you.

A: 3 pounds per person A good guideline for any crawfish boil is 3 pounds per person. However, it is important to take your guests into consideration when you place your order. For example, if your guests are big eaters, you may want to order 5 pounds for those individuals.
This product is a fresh boiled product. Re our FIELD RUN, we boil crawfish daily, giving you a fresh product for your party. No hassle, easy to prepare. Either re-heat by steaming or boiling (directions below). They are just as delicious chilled. NOTE: Our boiled Louisiana crawfish (farm raised) are perfectly seasoned with Cajun.com Seafood Boil Seasoning.
SHIPPING: Your boiled crawfish are shipped in custom styrofoam coolers with dry ice to ensure your whole crawfish arrive in excellent condition. This shipping procedure guarantees a fresh product delivered via NEXT DAY, 2DAY or even GROUND delivery.
During early crawfish season, field run crawfish are much smaller. Later in the season, you will find many more larger crawfish blended with the smaller crawfish.
RE-HEAT ALREADY BOILED CRAWFISH .... only want to re-heat, not over cook!
(Boil): Fill stock pot with enough water to cover crawfish and bring to a rolling boil. Place crawfish in boiling water, TURN OFF heat. Place already boiled crawfish into pot and heat 2 to 3 minutes, remove crawfish from pot, place crawfish in ice chest to keep warm. Sprinkle with extra seasoning to your liking. Serve with cold beer.
(Steam) Fill stock pot with one inch of water, bring to a strong steam. Place crawfish in pot and steam for 2 to 3 minutes to reheat crawfish. Sprinkle with extra seasoning to your liking.
